Carolynn is one of my heroes, she was always there for me in high school and after! I also really look up to my mom. Now that I have a family I really appreciate all that she does for me.

Angelina Jolie– I admire how she uses her celebrity & wealth for causes she believes in.

Spiderman– have always loved the Spiderman storyline, how an “average” kid with problems develops superpowers & helps others, but still has to deal with problems even as a hero.

Christine McFadden: I saw her story in an Oprah magazine– her 4 children were murdered simultaneously by her ex-husband 5 years ago. She remarried and has since had twins. It amazes me to see how someone can recover from such a loss.

P.S. I just saw Becky’s comment… we’ve been friends since I was 13, and she definitely has been an excellent friend in my life as well. :)

In today’s post on my blog, I referred to someone who is one of my heroes – Mikey Robins, a comedian from my home town. I’ll be writing soon about why I think he’s such an inspiration, but I think I’ll have to follow in his footsteps.
