Becky: “My husband is very anti-pesticides so we hope to grow much of our own food someday soon.”

Please excuse a brief observation from the peanut gallery…

Wow! I had no idea that so many people were into organic food. This is one thing that I love about Human Census– in asking the questions, my assumptions are often challenged and I really get to learn more about other people. :)

Here’s a funny link to “food desert“, courtesy of reader Stephen.

(This is an organic pay-what-you-feel-is-right, take-only-what-you-can-eat, restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah (they also have some other locations).

It’s a great concept– here’s an interview on YouTube with the founder, Denise Cerreta. I’ve eaten there, and the food is fantastic. :)

Check out this awesome site: City of Heroes Collectible Card Game. You can make a “baseball card” of yourself or anyone else as a “superhero”.

I was looking through their gallery of superheroes, found this one, and thought you all might get a kick out of it… ;)

I realized, after posting yesterday’s question, that I don’t want to encourage sharing highly personal info (such as birthdate) on this site. Sorry about that. ;)

Then I found an article, discussing the pros, cons, and potential side effects of the social media revolution, where we  join all of these social networking sites and thus, personal information may or may not be safeguarded as it has in the past or perhaps “should.”

Here’s the article– the Day 15 Question is going to be related to this topic.
